I am still reeling from the sweep of the Lakers. It hurts when I breathe. But this Funny or Die spoof of Kobe’s post game pressers from the Dallas Series made me giggle slightly.
He did nail Mamba’s nonchalant tone but he’s KOBE “Mickey fickey” Bryant, there’s always a chance when he’s on your squad. Yeah, yeah I KNOW… next year… le sigh
Kobe had his exit interview today with Lakers brass and the media, check a few of his comments on why the Lakers lost, plans for the offseason, those rumors about Pau and Andrew Bynum:
On Bynum taking a more offensive role with the team:
“Well, it’s tough to do on this team,” he said of moving Bynum up on the list of offensive priorities. “Ultimately, he’ll have to fall in line. Because I’m gonna shoot the ball. We all know that. Pau is going to get his touches. He’s no. 2. And then [Andrew] will have to fall in line.”
ummmm wow, Kobe did say he believes they can come back and win next year with the team they currently have but something tells me that’s not all the way true!
On this season with the Lakers:
“It was a wasted year of my life”
His off season plans:
he plans to work on his game during the summer, focusing on leg strength and injury prevention. He added that he doesn’t want to get surgery on his right index finger, even if there is an NBA lockout, because the rehab would take too long.
On the rumors about his wife Vanessa some how causing a riff between he and Pau:
That’s ridiculous, the internet just runs with stuff
