So far there hasn’t been a lot to cheer about in Laker land these days but the milestone that Kobe Bryant reached Wednesday night is nothing short of amazing. Congratulations to Kobe Bryant on his 30,000th career point!! Kobe becomes the youngest player ever to reach the milestone and is just the fifth player in NBA history to accomplish the feat. Fitting that this would happen against the team that originally drafted young Mamba at 13 and traded him to the Lakers for Vlade Divac. That’s what you call Jerry West magic.
Kobe has scored 50 points in a game, five times and scored over 40 points, 26 times.
