When Ray Allen made the decision to leave the Boston Celtics for the Miami Heat via free agency, Kevin Garnett said that Ray should lose his number. Now that KG and Paul Pierce have moved on to the Nets, Lebron said it was wrong for the duo to get at Ray like they did because now they’re in the same situation. KG responded to King James on Thursday, telling the Miami Heat star to worry about his own team.
“Tell LeBron to worry about Miami. It has nothing to do with Celtic business,” Garnett said, via ESPN New York.
Pierce was also asked about the issue and noted that he didn’t leave in free agency the way Allen did, but was traded. Guess that bad blood will extend to the Nets.
