Kevin Durant went off for a career high on Friday night. KD scored 54 points as the Thunder dropped the surging Golden State Warriors. Durant has been burning up the court as of late with this game being the third match up in a row that he’s scored at least 36 points.
Following the game, KD has this to say about his 19-28 shooting night.
“As the leader of this team, my main objective is to serve my teammates and some nights I have to put it up.”
This was the third meeting of the season between the two teams. The previous two games were split and decided in the final seconds of the game.
