It appears Knicks head coach Mike Woodson and guard JR Smith are having issues. JR reportedly wasn’t please that Woodson admonished he about his shot selection against the Bulls, and decided to retaliate by only taking a single shot during the Knicks vs. Celtics match up.
JR maintains he was simply trying to follow the direction Woodson had given him. Minus James Harden, players always seems to suffer after winning the “Sixth-Man-of-the-Year” award the following season.
It looked like JR was almost in tears on the bench. Things are getting uglier FAST in New York. On the plus side, Amaré Stoudemire has been solid in the Knicks last few outings.
