At the start of the NBA season, there were whispers that some teams would play games with their personal nicknames on the back of their official NBA jersey. Looks like that’s an actual thing happening this season and the Miami Heat will be one of those teams. Spike Lee gave a preview of Ray Allen’s jersey that will feature the nickname, “J Shuttlesworth.” That was the name of Allen’s character in the Spike Lee classic film, “He Got Game.”
Spike proclaimed “He Got Game” as the greatest basketball movie EVER. I don’t know if I agree with that.
