Rookie Brooklyn Nets coach Jason Kidd had his jersey retired before Heat vs. Nets preseason action Thursday night. Kidd played 6 of his 19 NBA seasons with the New Jersey Nets including back-to-back finals appearances in 2002-2003.
“I don’t know if anyone has had their number retired and had to go to work,” Kidd said.
