Former NBA player and University of Michigan Alum, Robert “Tractor” Traylor was found dead in his apartment in Puerto Rico. Traylor, who was 34 years old, was playing for Bayamon Vaqueros in Isla Verde. It’s believed he passed from a massive Heart attack but that has yet to be confirmed.
During his NBA career, he averaged 4.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game in runs with the Bucks, Cavaliers, and Hornets. He was taken 6th overall in the 1998 NBA draft and traded from the Mavericks to the Bucks in exchange for Dirk Nowitzki. Traylor struggled with both his weight and a heart defect that required aortic surgery in 2006.
