While all the focus has been on the Clippers drama since the leak of a conversation between owner Donald Sterling and his girlfriend. The Golden State Warriors are still dealing with the fall out of their own drama. Earlier this month assistant coach Darren Erman was fired. The reason was vague, only stating that he was in extreme violation of team policy.
Now comes word that Erman’s violation was that he was secretly recording conversations between the team’s coaches and players, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.
What is going on with all the “secret recordings” in the NBA right now. People need to understand that it is ILLEGAL to record a conversation without the person’s knowledge. Having said that, I wonder what his motivation was.
