Dirk Notwitzki Says LeBron James & Dwyane Wade Were Acting “Childish”

Before Game 5 of the NBA finals, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade had a little fun at Dirk Notwitzki’s expense. The two were caught on camera coughing making reference to Dirk being ill in Game 4.

We see what the result was in game 5, a Heat lost. Dirk shared his thoughts on joke:

“I just thought it was a little childish, a little ignorant,” Nowitzki, who saw a video of the incident, said on Saturday. “I’ve been in this league for 13 years. I’ve never faked an injury or an illness before.

Guess he didn’t find it funny. Dwyane had this to say about the incident:

Wade noted he and James “never said Dirk’s name” but did not deny Nowitzki was the intended target.
“With the cameras being right there, we made a joke out of it because we knew you guys were going to blow it up,” he told reporters. “You did exactly what we knew.”

 I guess. Game 6 is tomorrow, tonight is when LeBron should’ve tweeted “now or never.
