Derrick Rose says he’s the best player in the NBA [video]

We’ve been waiting on the return of Derrick Rose since the 2012 NBA playoffs. From all accounts we’ll see DRose back on the NBA court this upcoming NBA season. In a recent interview with CNN, Rose was asked who he believes the best player in the NBA is, of course he said Derrick Rose. What did you expect?

I’m not mad at his comment. He has to believe in himself and I’m quite certain this past year, with all the scrutiny he faced,  has left him with a chip on his shoulder. And let’s not forget, despite his absence, the Bulls managed to shock the Heat with a loss in the playoffs before ultimately losing in the second round.

If the rumors are true, the Bulls will face off against the Miami Heat on opening night (October 29th) as the Heat raise their championship banner.
