Kings star DeMarcus Cousins has has his own issues with immaturity in the league. But his thoughts on Blake Griffin ring a tad bit true. Cousins had a lot to say following a physical game between the Kings and the Clippers Thursday night.
Blake has been accused of flopping a lot this season. It seems as if his incredible rookie year has gone to his head a bit. Blake’s free throw percentage is still just above 50% and his jumper is suspect. Cousins also had commentary about a call that went against him that he felt Blake showed off his newly acquired repertoire of flops.
Of course that’s what Blake is going to say because he’s in L.A., where actors belong,” Cousins told SI.com when told that Griffin was “moving on” to the rematch. “He’s an actor.”
Blake’s new attitude has been apparent all season if you’ve actually been watching Clippers games and not just highlights. Even during pre-season when it was announced that Chris Paul was traded to the Clips, watching that video, Blake’s smug attitude was apparent. There’s a short line between dunking superstar and the next flavor of the month. Take the constructive criticism and step your game up Blake.
