Crygate: Did Heat Players Cry After A Loss To The Bulls?

By now you’ve heard about the press conference Miami Heat coach, Eric Spolestra gave after the heat’s 87-86 loss to the Chicago Bulls. Spoelstra noted that there were tears in the locker room. Most were shocked by this admission. Not because the players should not be passionate about the game of basketball – wait that’s not true,

plenty of people were upset at the thought that there is CRYING in basketball- however, my bigger issue was that the Heat’s head coach thought it would be ok to reveal that bit of information to the media.

Today of course, there was a completely different version of the events, Per post practice comments:

“Nobody was whimpering in the locker room,” said Spoelstra. “I think you guys are really searching for sensationalism right now.”

Ummmm Coach, if you never said it, there would be no reason for the “media” to stir up trouble. I think that’s the obvious answer but the Heat have bigger fish to fry (or this is part of the seasoning for the same dish) Either way you look at it, it’s TROUBLE!

ESPN New York added a squirt of flammable liquid to the fire by letting this bit of information slip from the Knicks win over the Hawks on Sunday:

“I heard Chris Bosh was crying tears,”  Amar’e Stoudemire

“Tears?” Carmelo Anthony asked.

“Yeah, tears,” Stoudemire replied.

“Wait ’til I call him, man,” Anthony said. “I’ll be like: ‘What are you doing?'”

For the record, Chris bosh assured reporters yesterday he was not among the tearful.
