The Cleveland Cavaliers have decided to take a chance on free agent Andrew Bynum. The Cavs are reportedly offering Bynum and two-year deal worth $24 million. The second year of that contract is a team option. A $5 million deduction from what he was paid to YOLO hair styles for the Philadelphia 76’ers last season.
The 25-year old center is coming off two knee surgeries last season. Bynum is also expected to meet with meeting with the Atlanta Hawks and Dallas Mavericks as well. The plan is for Bynum to use this year to get his money and game up and then re-shop his services in the 2014 market. Bynum averaged 18.7 points and 11.8 rebounds in 2011-12 with the Lakers.
