Sitting court side, Knicks and Nets give me high fives – “Empire State of mind” Jay Z
Clash of the Boroughs round 1 took place on Monday night in Brooklyn at Barclays Center as the Nets matched up against the Knicks. This game was rescheduled as a result of Hurricane Sandy. The bright side, both teams had a chance to find their legs in the process with the Knicks having their best season start since 1993.
Of course Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce were courtside and the halftime performed was hip-hop legend, Slick Rick the Ruler – down side, word is his performance was subpar –
But back to the topic at hand, the Nets took this one 96-89 in overtime to the chants of Broooooookkkkkklynnnnn raining down. Knicks center Tyson Chandler had a few nice dunks, check those out too.
Jay put his stamp on the game last night on Twitter. You know he only has like 5 Tweets so it’s significant when he puts one out.
The city is under new management.
