Playing alongside one of the greatest players to ever touch a basketball would seem to be a dream come true. But this is the real world, and there will always be adjustments to make in order for team work to make the dream work.
In recent interviews this week, two members of the Miami Heat said Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love will have some challenges playing alongside LeBron James on the reloaded Cavs.
Mario Chalmers was often chastised by King James – and other members of the Heat – during Bron’s four years in South Beach. Chalmers said Irving better get ready for some of that this season.
Chalmers wouldn’t go into any detail about what was said though. He’s ready to put the focus on the current Miami roster.
“Man, that process is over and done with it,” Chalmers said. “It’s a fresh start, fresh team, new year.”
He then took it a step further and claimed to have amnesia.
“I don’t even remember, bro,” he said. “Last year is in the past. This is a new year. New me. I’m not thinking about it.”
Chris Bosh who went from being a first option when he was with the Toronto Raptors, to the third option on the Miami Heat, said Kevin Love is about to go through some things.
