Carmelo & Lala Moved Into Their Penthouse In NYC

If this was 10 years ago when athletes were still trying to lead a duel life as head of their own label, Carmelo probably would be pulling off the ultimate combo move.

Carmelo and La La Anthony have snapped up a luxe penthouse duplex at the Hit Factory Condominium, the former recording studio where Stevie Wonder, Mick Jagger, Diana Ross and Notorious B.I.G. all laid down tracks

The studios were converted into a seven-story, 27-unit condo development, with six penthouse duplexes, in 2007. Penthouses with private terraces at the Hit Factory rent for $14,900-$22,000 per month, according to StreetEasy.com, a real-estate Web site. Condos for sale go for $1 million to $4 million

So much for that rumor about Lala and Kim K looking in the same building over in Jersey. I would imagine at least for the first year they’d want to be in the heart of the city. After all those years in DENVER… yeah give me the city that never sleeps and all the energy it brings.  A year is long enough to get burnt out then they can move to Jersey for the quite life.
