Carmelo Anthony has broken the New York Knicks franchise record for most points scored in a regular-season game. Melo put up 62 points and surpassed Kobe Bryant’s 61 point Madison Square Garden explosion to replace him in the record book for the arena . Anthony’s stat line for the night, 23-35 field goals plus 13 rebounds. And the Knicks get the W, 125-96 over the Charlotte Bobcats.
Maybe this will be the defining moment that turns the season around for the Knicks.
