The Chicago Bulls were knocked out of the first round of the playoffs by the Philadelphia 76’ers on Thursday night. Carlos Boozer has been with the Bulls for two seasons now. And in a familiar scenario stemming back to his time with the Jazz and the Cavs, Boozer didn’t show up when he was needed. But more curious than his three point contribution to a close out game were his post game comments on all that mattered was the Bulls regular season record.
Maybe he’s saying that it only matters that the team gave their best effort. Everyone knows that Derrick Rose was hurt the bulk of the season and then the awful ACL tear. That was followed up by an injury to Taj Gibson. So yeah, the Bulls have had a tough break. But really Carlos? Maybe he’s having a delayed chemical reaction from his spray-on hairline from a few months ago.
