The Portland Trailblazers are on a roll and have one of the best records in the NBA. The Blazers extended their winning streak to 10 on Saturday night following a win against the Golden State Warriors. During the third quarter, a scuffle broke put that resulted in several ejections. Warriors Andrew Bogut and Blazers Joel Freeland got into a heated exchange under the rim and things spiraled from there resulting in the melee getting close to the courtside seats, several technicals and some ejections.
Warriors David Lee and Andrew Bogut received technicials, as did LaMarcus Aldridge. Blazers Mo Williams and Wesley Matthews were ejected along with Warriors Draymond Green was ejected. Injured Warriors center Jermaine O’Neal entered the fray, too, holding back Williams from continuing the altercation. J.O has some familiarity with this, don’t forget he played for the Pacers during the infamous “Malice at the Palace”
Interesting to note that it was Bogut who started this but he was allowed to stay in the game. I’m sure there will be sanctions coming from the league.
