The city of Paris, France has undergone tragedy over the past few days. France has been high alert since the country’s worst terror attack in decades, a massacre Wednesday in Paris at the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo that left 12 people dead.
Eight journalists, two police officers, a maintenance worker and a visitor were killed in the attack.
Several French NBA players showed support for those affected by the tragedy including Portland Trailblazers Nicolas Batum. Thee forward wore a “Je Suis Charlie” t-shirt to honor the victims with “Je Suis Charlie” translates to “I am Charlie.”
