The Portland Trailblazers handed the Detroit Pistons their ninth loss in a row on Friday night.
With a 1:05 remaining in the game, Detroit’s reserve big man Shawne Williams and Blazers Joel Freeland had an altercation. Williams didn’t appreciate a push from Freeland’s teammate Meyers Leonard, and decided to let Leonard know by stepping to him. After the two were separated, Williams walked down the court where Blazers back up big man Freeland confronted him.
Freeland and Williams exchanged words, but then Williams leaned in and hit Freeland with a head-butt. Not to be outdone, Freeland responded in kind, and the two locked horns, or foreheads, on the court.
