Blazers Damian Lillard Seeking Max Extension

If there’s a bright side to the Portland Trailblazers first round exit, it’s that All-Star point guard Damian Lillard will be able to attend his college graduation.

Damian Lillard left Weber State University early for life in the NBA three years ago. But still earned his degree in professional sales in the College of Applied Science & Technology. Today ( May 1st,) Lillard will not only graduate, but give a speech at the commencement ceremony also.

I’m sure Damian would much rather be playing in Game 6 of the playoffs, but too many Trailblazers injuries killed that dream this season. This summer several key pieces of the Blazers roster, including LaMarcus Aldridge, are free agents. Damian is reportedly seeking a max extension, which would be five years, at around $90 million.
