Before Jordan (The brand not the man, although one could argue they are one in the same) was it’s own company back in the 80’s, one of the most famous Nike campaigns featured a little known director by the name of Spike Lee recreating his Mars Blackmon character from his directorial debut, “She’s got to have it.”
20 plus years later, Clippers rookie and human highlight film (hey since we’re going with an 80’s them I felt it only right to slip a Dominique Wilkins reference in) Blake Griffin (The Blake Show) will be recreating the Mars character for a shoot with Nike.
I’m sure the finished product will be incredible. Nike never let’s me down! It’s ALWAYS the shoes money.
