Before the the Golden State Warriors and Portland Trailblazers played the final game of the Western Conference Semi-Finals. The game started off with Steph accepting the 2016 Kia NBA MVP award.
In case you somehow missed his speech, or another epic Riley Curry sighting, check out all the action below:
Riley’s entrance… she has her eyes on the media.
Steph’s speech
Adam Silver forgot to shake Steph’s hand when he presented him the trophy before the game.
Ayesha Curry was turned up for her boo during the game. Naturally the moment was enough for Twitter to start with a familiar theme of featuring Mrs. Curry as a meme of the perfect housewife.
One guy on Twitter even noted how she gave a fan a high five without looking at him in the eye. Which shows how dedicated she is to Steph…K.
Ayesha isn’t here for all of that, last month the 28-year-old told Essence she felt those actions were done to pit women against one another.
“I wonder why people are so hateful sometimes. I just don’t get it. I want people to know these memes aren’t coming from me and I didn’t endorse them,” Curry told the publication in April. “I have a feeling whoever is making them is mostly men trying to pit women against each other and that’s something I don’t stand for, especially with us black women. I just wish we could support each other a little bit more. I want everybody to succeed.”
Meanwhile, the original Curry heartthrob- Steph’s mother Sonya – also got a bit of Twiiter love last night. Sonya was also cheering for Steph and even busted out a little dance that had social media excited and then wondering, “where’s Steph’s daddy Dell”
Not to worry thought. Dell was in the suite, and the guy was Steph’s former Davidson teammate Jason Richards.
