Amar’e Stoudemire will miss the next 2 to 4 weeks with the Knicks as he goes through non-surgical treatment for a bulging disk in his back. Stoudemire traveled to Miami to get a second evaluation and both doctors agreed on the same course of treatment. Part of the treatment will include receiving an epidural to help ease the lower back pain.
If Stat returns in two weeks, he’ll be available for the last nine games of the season. If he sits out the entire four weeks he’d be available for the first round of the playoffs.
That’s if the Knicks make it in.
