The 2014-2015 NBA schedule droped Wednesday at 6:00 PM EST, but of course a few of the key schedule highlights have already leaked. One interesting new development for next season is the expansion of the NBA’s All-Star break. Generally players that participate in the weekend’s events don’t get the opportunity to get a break from the game as they’re busy with various events for the league.
Next season players will get at least a week off. For now, check out the marquee match up for Christmas day. Lebron makes his return to South Beach when the Heat and Cavs match up, the Lakers will get to see old friend Pau Gasol as the Bulls and Lakers face off – “The Return” of the injured ones 2.0 featuring Derrick Rose and Kobe Bryant. The Washington Wizards will meet the New York Knicks. A rematch of last season’s Western Conference Finals will feature the San Antonio Spurs against the Oklahoma City Thunder, and lastly, the rivalry continues with the Clippers and Golden State Warriors meeting up once again.
