The 2011 All Star reserves were announced last night on TNT. While the East team held few surprises, dominated largely by the Heat and Celtics, you knew on the West that someone was going to lose. For me, the inclusion of Tim Duncan was a shocker. I recognize that the Spurs quietly (as is their usual mode of operation) have the best record in the NBA right now but somehow Tim Duncan’s inclusion on the west team over Kevin Love or LaMarcus Aldridge seemed unfair.

What are your thoughts on the selection? On the east, should Raymond Felton of the Knicks have made it? What about no Monta Ellis (he’s trigger happy in my opinion but a volume scorer) and no Steve Nash.
