WOW, what a first round! The Griz and Hawks shocked the world- or me at least. I did not expect the Spurs and Magic to go home in the first round. I am so excited about the Grizzlies- Thunder series. Two young teams with a lot of talent and new to the playoffs.
Lakers vs. Mavericks is going to be great too! Fun fact, Kobe and Dirk have never faced off against each other in the playoffs. I guess Dallas got sick of everyone saying they were sofy and wouldn’t make it past the Blazers because they came out and smacked the Blazers in game 6.
In the east of course the BIG match up that everyone has been waiting to see if Heat vs. Celtics. The Heat have caught fire in the playoffs but the Celtics have had time to rest their “old guys” and they have been playing with a purpose. We’ll see if Shaq makes it back and is effective in the paint this series. Not that the Heat really have anyone at the center position to be remotely concerned with.
Bulls vs. Hawks. Eh, I’m whatever on this series. I feel like it was a fluke that the Hawks got in. I see the Bulls disposing of them rather quickly but, “I may be wrong, but I doubt it” ::Charles Barkley voice::
