Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen made the decision this off season to cut off his signature dreadlocks. Cutch used the occasion to raise money for charity.
His locks will be acuctioned off on MLB.com with proceeds poing to the Pirates charities. 10 strands in total are available. The reason why he decided to get rid of his locks,
“I’ve had [dreadlocks] for such a long time now, and they were starting to get a bit long.”
