49’ers QB Colin Kaepernick could’ve went the MLB route for professional sports. Kaepernick was a two-time all state baseball player in California, and even threw two no hitters as a Senior at Pitman High School.
Kaepernick threw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Giants vs Marlins game on Friday night in San Francisco. His first pitch clocked 87-mph. I guess if things don’t work out in the NFL, he has career part 2… Maybe he could try to get his Bo/Deion on… nah that could never happen in the current professional sports climate.
True story, Colin was actually drafted in the 43rd round by the Chicago Cubs in 2009, but he chose football instead.
