In her second-round match against Sandra Zahlavova, Venus once again had all eyes on her as she took out the competition in a yellow lattice and rainbow print mini (with nude booties, natch) inspired by “Alice in wonderland”. Of course it’s an Eleven original (her company).
While I’m not a fan of this look, some of the comments made in the Australian paper “The Telegraph” about Venus’ outfit selection as well as her athletic expression are downright rude. Interesting that chastise “American taste” but do so in such a distasteful manner.
Venus injured her groin during this match. Let’s hope it’s minor so she can continue to dominate the competition. If they’re going to be offended, might as well top it off with a cherry win!
