Did you know there was a fight taking place Saturday night in Las Vegas? Manny Pacquiao faced off against Timothy Bradley for his alleged final professional fight.
After a unanimous victory, Pacquiao reiterated he was done with boxing and ready to serve the people of the Philippines with his political career.
“Yes, as of now I am retired,” Pacquiao said. “I am going to go home and think about it, but I want to be with my family. I want to serve the people [of the Philippines].”
Those plans include a life of charitable work and politics in the Philippines. Currently Manny is a two-term congressman running for a senate seat. The election is next month, and he is favored to win one of the 12 seats up for election.
