Hope Solo says it’s the media’s fault her husband Jerramy Stevens has a bad rep

Seems like a rough honeymoon for soccer star Hope Solo and her new husband, former NFL player Jerramy Stevens. Stevens was arrested Wednesday for possibly violating the terms of his probation. Stevens is on probation for a 2010 drug possession charge.

Hope released a statement about her marriage and the November 13th arrest of Stevens on an alleged domestic violence incident against Solo that he wasn’t charged for.

“I’m happy in my life. I know the people closest to me are the only ones who really know what happened. The facts are out there if people really want to find them out — they can go and find them out in the police report. But I would never stand for domestic violence. I won’t read any of the negative things about me or my husband. Like I said, we’re happy, and ultimately that’s all that really matters.”
