Floyd Mayweather Jr. beat Saul “Canelo” Alvarez on Saturday night. Floyd basically put on a clinic. Prior to the fight, former boxer and Canelo’s promoter, Oscar De La Hoya said he had the blue print to beat Money May and he passed that information on to Canelo.
De La Hoya claims to have laid out the blueprint on how to defeat Mayweather during their 2007 record-setting fight which Mayweather was awarded by split decision. This “blue print” has now failed five times with De La Hoya, Robert Guerrero, Shane Mosley, Victor Ortiz and Canelo all losing while attempting the strategy.
Floyd took to Instagram today to throw a few well placed shots at De La Hoya who entered rehab just days before the match up.
