Condolences to the friends and family of British Indy League driver, Dan Wheldon, the 33-year-old died Sunday as a result of injuries suffered at the 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series season finale at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada. Wheldon’s car crashed in a huge fifteen car accident shortly after the race began.Wheldon’s car flew over another vehicle and landed in a catch fence.

Weldon was airlifted from the track to University Medical Center, about two hours later, Indy car CEO Randy Bernard announced his death.
