College basketball analyst and former Knick Greg Anthony arrested in prostitution sting

When you’re on the road and you’re looking for a little company, what does one do? If you’re CBS Sports analyst Greg Anthony, allegedly hit up a prostitute.

Anthony – whose married – was arrested Friday for soliciting a prostitute by a sting operation.
He was arrested at 5:46 p.m. on a misdemeanor solicitation charge that is punishable by up to 180 days in jail.

Anthony, 47, spent 11 seasons in the NBA from 1991- 2002. He was a member of the infamous UNLV running rebels. He’s on his second marriage to Dr. Chere Anthony. She gave birth to a daughter in March of this year. Antony’s first wife, Crystl McCrary was a lawyer, who along with Rita Ewing, ex wife of Knicks legend, Patrick, wrote a fictional account about life as an NBA wife entitled ‘Homecourt Advantage.”

Anthony played for five NBA teams, including the Knicks. He was in DC to call the Michigan State vs. Maryland game for CBS on Saturday afternoon.
