Judge in Paul George Child Support Case Says All-Star is a Deadbeat Dad

Earlier this year, we broke the news of Pacers All-Star Paul George and allegedly offered former dancer, Daniela Rajic $1 million to have an abortion when she became pregnant following a summer fling with George last year.

George is currently attempting to get custody/and or arrange child support for Baby Girl Olivia born on May 1st, 2014. Per the New York Post, the judge in the case is tired of George acting like a deadbeat dad and wants him to get it together.

Even though it is all but certain that [George] is the father of the 5-month-old baby girl at the center of this case,” Justice Matthew Cooper writes, “he has gone to every length imaginable to avoid taking responsibility for his actions.”

The case will stay in New York, even though the couple met in Miami, Olivia was conceived in California and born in New York. George’s lawyer’s were attempting to get the case moved to Florida where the two met. The courts down there appear to be more sympathetic to star pro athletes and custody/child support battles. Just ask Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

We all know court docs contain a lot of information. I’m surprised his lawyers didn’t find a way to get this taken care of quietly and seal the records from the public. In the current climate, leagues, sponsors and teams are taking a closer looking at conduct away from the game.
