The Minnesota Vikings made the decision to reinstate running back Adrian Peterson, following an indictment for child abuse. Peterson released a statement saying he didn’t abuse his four-year old son. But, now another incident has surfaced regarding a second incident with another of Peterson’s six children.

This son was four at the time of the incident last June, and is a different woman from the case that he’s been indicted for.

Alleged text messages between Peterson and the son’s mother:

A photo, allegedly texted by Peterson to the boy’s mother, shows a head wound to the boy covered by two bandages. Other photos, allegedly taken weeks later, reveal a scar over his right eye.

Mother: “What happened to his head?”

Peterson: “Hit his head on the Carseat.”

Mother: “How does that happen, he got a whoopin in the car.”

Peterson: “Yep.”

Mother: “Why?”

Peterson: “I felt so bad. But he did it his self.”

Mother: “What did you hit him with?”

Peter never directly answered, but later replied: “Be still n take ya whooping he would have saved the scare (scar). He aight (all right)”

This incident was allegedly sparked because Peterson said the four-year old cursed at a sibling.

Is this the same sibling that was pushed off the game in the case he was just indicted for? And the follow up, is this the same child he has with his current wife. Four children all the same age seems as if it was probably a stressful situation.

The mother field a report with CPS but no charges were filed. The Vikings were aware of this case
