Dwyane Wade has been suspended one game for this kick to the groin of Bobcats guard, Ramon Sessions. The incident took place in the fourth quarter on Wednesday during the Heat’s victory against the Bobcats in Charlotte.

Following the game, Sessions indicated that he believed the foul was intentional. The NBA cited DWade “for flailing his leg and making contact with the groin” of Sessions.

DWade took to Twitter to defend himself and state for the record that he’s not a dirty player.

There have been other incidents this year that might have caused people to label Dwyane a “dirty player.” There was the hard foul to Kobe Bryant during last season’s All-Star game that left Bryant with a broken nose and concussion. And there was a flagrant foul on Darren Collison last season during the playoff series against the Indiana Pacers.

DWade will miss Friday’s game against the Detroit Pistons.
