Evelyn Lozada Being Sued By Ex-Fiance, Antoine Walker’s Creditors

The ghost of Christmas past is trying to snatch some of Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada’s  funds. Creditors for Evelyn Lozada’s ex-fiance, Antoine Walker, are now coming after Evelyn to collect funds related to his bankruptcy.

Walker filed for bankruptcy last year, and now the bankruptcy trustee smells a rat.  It seems Walker gave Lozada $560,000 when he already knew he was going belly up.  The trustee has sued Lozada, claiming the transfer was fraudulent — an attempt to hide money from legitimate creditors.

The trustee says Lozada used the money to start a Miami shoe store called Dulce, and now the trustee wants the $560k back.

Both Antoine and Evelyn insist that version of events is false. Evelyn says the money was used to help her pay bills and that Dulce was started with the money she got from selling her engagement ring (that’s the story she’s always told on Basketball Wives as well) This will be interesting to watch how the case unfolds. A key piece of Antoine’s downfall was always said to be the former star being far to generous with friends, I wonder if they’re investigating anyone else he gave significant money to or if Evelyn’s new found fame is causing the trustee to connect dots.

Also, I know that Evelyn opened the store with Rebecca Brothers, Paul Pierce’s ex-girlfriend seems like it’s just a matter of time before Evelyn moves on from it. But that’s mere speculation on my part.
