Obviously VH1 is one of my favorite channels. They give me a nice little sport-reality fusion that “speaks to me.” Season 3 of The T.O. Show begins August 22nd. This season looks like it’s going to be great. Terrell is faced with rehabbing a second knee injury in 6 months. How this impacts his journey to find a new team (or forces him into retirement) will be an interesting journey to watch.

VH1 certainly seems to be the reality home for Jocks and their “lady loves.” August 22nd Lala Vasquez-Anthony’s reality show makes it’s season 2 debut. This season there’s a new name, Lala’s Full Court Life.

Terrell Owens has some free time on his hands, VH1 has programming hours to fill. That means Season 3 of The T.O. Show will be back in time for your summer viewing pleasure.
The synopsis for season 3 sounds eerily similar to season 2, except this time it will be set in Miami. Oh and there’s a business venture!

The X Life, is a new series on VH1 that follows the extreme lives of the biggest names in actions sports and the women that love them!
The 3 athletes are Pierre Luc Gagnon aka “PLG” , Cory “Nasty” Nastazio and Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg and their significant others Denise, Nicole & Susie (for those keeping score, 1 wife, 1 Girlfriend/baby mama and 1 Girlfriend no dependents).
Growing up in L.A. the whole surf, skate culture is deeply ingrained in me. I’ve attempted surfing, attended the X-Games and I’m not opposed to learning how to skateboard if I can find a patient teacher!
The show gives yet another inside peek into the life of pro athletes and their mates. While these guys may be household names to some, the premiere episode on Monday was my first introduction to them and I’m already hooked! Score another one for VH1 (Sports). The show airs on Mondays at 10. Naturally there’s a healthy dose of drama and cat fights. Is it really reality TV if that’s missing?

And in other shocking news. VH1 has allegedly offered Chad Ochocinco and Evelyn Lozada a spin off show centering around their engagement and leading up to the wedding (Athlete weddings are good for the network, Lala’s Full Court Wedding did well for them).

Episode 2 of Football Wives delves into an area not covered on its sister show Basketball Wives, injuries. The NFL doesn’t have guaranteed contracts like the NBA. Every season most pro “foot” ballers are an injury away from being cut. The impact this has on their families’ psyche and financial stability is explored from the Superstar perspective of Deion Sanders & through a journeyman’s story, Ryan Neufield and his wife Dawn. One thing I already appreciate about Dawn is her openness regarding the monetary strain this lifestyle has caused her family.

VH1′s Football Wives premieres this Sunday. Not to much is known about the cast, especially Mercedes Nelson who is listed as “the former girlfriend of a Dallas Star Player”. She’s missing from the cast promo picture and not featured at all in the 1st episode. Yet blogs are already been trying to figure out what her connection is to Dallas.
