The Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood was the scene for GQ’s 2011 Men of the Year celebration. On hand for the festivities; Nets minority owner, Jay-Z- he’s also one of the honorees of the evening. Knicks star Carmelo Anthony and wife Lala, Terrell Owens, Keshawn Johnson, Blake Griffin, Russell Westbrook and more. Check out photos from the event.

Former NFL wideout, Terrell Owens is having money issues. I’m going to take his situation and turn it into a teaching moment for anyone who believes that brokering their eggs for child support payments is a lifetime lottery ticket.
T.O. is currently seeking a reduction in child support payments for 3 of his 4 kids. TMZ (of course) has the breakdown:

It’s been a really rough couple of months for Terrell Owens. Empty open workout, no new NFL team, bad reaction to prescription meds- look, that’s what they say happened so, that’s what happened, OK. And now, we add yet another issue.

Earlier this month (October 6th) there were reports that Terrell Owens was transported to the hospital via ambulance for a prescription pill overdose. TMZ has obtained the 911 call from that night and his assistant does in fact say to the operator that she believes it was an attempted suicide.
The audio also includes the assistant speaking to one half of Terrell Owens PR duo, Kita Williams by phone, searching for the bottle of pills and informing the operator that Terrell was awake.

One day after Terrell Owens held an open workout for NFL teams to see he still has something to offer teams, a Chicago team has extended an offer to T.O. No, not the Bears, The Chicago Rush, an arena league team.
The team even issued a press release on the matter:

It could be the end for NFL WR Terrell Owens. The free agent is attempting to make his return to the NFL and held a private workout today in Los Angeles. Slight problem though, no NFL scouts showed up. Technically, that may not mean much as it was also shown live on the NFL network but it absolutely sends a message.
T.O. has always been diligent about keeping in shape. Last season with the Bengals, he had 72 receptions and 983 yards. The problem with T.O. is all about perception and what it seems he brings to the locker room. I think he probably could help a few teams but are they willing to take the risk? Sadly I don’t think they will.

TMZ is reporting that Thursday night in Los Angeles, paramedics were called to an apartment where Terrell Owens was staying last week. Emergency officials were responding to a call about a possible prescription pill overdose. Owens was hospitalized overnight last Thursday for an unknown emergency.
