Apparently I’m not up on my cartoons. Who knew Nickelodeon had a series based on the NFL?? I guess it makes sense after all, kids are future season ticket holders. Lock them in while they’re young and impressionable! The show’s title is NFL Rushzone: Guardians of the Core and it began airing on the Network in September. Each week it spotlights one of the NFL’s 32 teams along with its main character, a kid named Ish.

The Jets were on a Bye week. That automatically took my interest level down a few notches. But still we press on (and for good reason, I received a few nice surprises this weekend)

The NFL season is finally underway (2 weeks until NBA camps open but I digress). I started my quest to find “MY TEAM” by spending a little bit of time watching games so I could get a feel for what these teams are all about, what type of attitude they have (I require MY team to have an edge) and of course, who has the cutest guys!
