Singer Monica Brown and Khloe Kardashian-Odom were BFF’s when their husbands played on the Lakers together. In fact, Khloe was supposed to be one of Monica’s bridesmaids in her wedding last summer to Shannon Brown. The sudden death of L.O.’s cousin changed those plans which caused Vanessa Bryant to step in at the last minute.

Shannon Brown was spotted out in New York with wife Monica this week. While a CBA has yet to be signed, NBA facilities are welcoming back players and training camp is set to start on December 9th. Shannon meanwhile isn’t expected to be offered a new contract by the Lakers. The guard is receiving interest from the Celtics but so far, no other team rumors are floating out there.

Shannon Brown and wife Monica’s wedding ceremony was ethereal. Inside Vibiana cathedral, 300 plus guest watched as the couple exchanged their vows (Monica said Shannon asked her was she really his forever. How sweet is that!!!) The bride’s wedding gown was designed by Stephane Rolland had a 50 pound train (she went to Paris to select her gown and the designer also provided her reception dress)

From video to reality in Less than a year
Free agent guard Shannon Brown and singer Monica made it official for the second time. The couple, who were actually married in November, exchanged vows at Vibiana, a renovated 19th century cathedral in downtown Los Angeles, in front of 300 guests.

Free agent guard Shannon Brown (let’s face it, he shouldn’t have opted out and I doubt he’ll be resigned by the Lakers but that’s another story for another day) and his wife Monica hit Boa in West Hollywood on Friday night with pop chica Ciara and rapper Trina for a pre-wedding dinner.
