It’s only pre-season but with 6 days until the NBA season kicks off. What you see is pretty much what you’re going to get. At least for the first few games. In a rematch of last season’s Western Conference finals, the Dallas Mavericks faced off against the Oklahoma city Thunder.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is one of my favorite NBA team owners. However, his recent moves are seriously putting his status into question. Not only was Cuban one of the owners who voted AGAINST the new CBA agreement, he’s also one of the ones that had a beef with the trade that would’ve sent Chris Paul to the Lakers and Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol to the Hornets and Rockets respectively.

It’s no secret that I’ve been pom pomming for Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban to purchase the Los Angeles Dodgers and help restore them to glory. Iconic franchise, newly minted Superstar player- Matt Kemp, Owww- great stadium location… I can go on and on with reasons why it would be a great look for Cuban. And apparently he agrees as he’s said to be making a bid for the team. But now, a dark horse has pulled a group together to enter the race.

Frank McCourt and the Dodgers have agreed to auction off the team to the highest bidder. I’d like that person to be Mark Cuban. I know the team is sort of a mess but I think he can restore it to it’s former glory days. Here are a few reasons that I think Cuban should go for it.

I like Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. He’s a passionate owner, he wants the NBA lockout over. He presented a plan which would help the other owners with revenue sharing (it wasn’t accepted but he TRIED) and he does Karaoke!

Tonight, one of my favorite shows comes to an end. The final episode of Entourage airs after 8 seasons. The show featured many cameos from some of our favorite jocks over that time so it’s only right to take a look back at some of the best:

Things like this are why Mark Cuban is one of my favorite owners. Cuban showed up at a Friday night game at Dyckman Park. Invited by his Shark Tank cast mate, Daymond John, the crowd showed crazy love for the owner of the World Champion Dallas Mavericks.
