The Knicks newest acquisition, JR Smith is enjoying his return to the NBA. Playing in Madison Square Garden, just miles from where he grew up has to be a dream come true. And even though JR was most recently linked to his tatted soulmate, Britanie Girard looks like he’s adding a new dream girl to his “team” and rapper Joe Budden isn’t happy about it.

The Knicks are coming together nicely and we could be watching the makings of a real contender in the East. After losing on Friday, the Knicks bounced back reloaded on Sunday afternoon against the Dallas Mavericks beating the champs 104-97. The game ball is split three ways. one third of course going to Jeremy lin, he was incredible and again made huge shots down the stretch. His stat line, 28 points, 14 assists, 4 rebounds, 5 steals AND 7 turnovers. Oh and Spike Lee was absolutely rocking Lin’s Harvard jersey.

This has to be a ploy to try to make this last month in JR Smith’s CBA (Chinese Basketball Association) contract canceled early. For the second time in less than a month, JR Smith’s sister Stephanie and his girlfriend Britanie Girard have gotten into a fight with Chinese fans during a game. This time the team was Tianjin.

Details are still sketchy, but it appears that Stephanie Smith, the sister of former Nugget, JR Smith allegedly choked a woman and shoved an 80-year old man during Smith’s game. Jr’s team, the Zhejiang Golden Bulls,were playing against the Bayi Rockets. JR was fouled but didn’t get the call, his sister became upset and threw a bottle on the court.

JR Smith won’t be in the NBA this season but that isn’t stopping him from finding his groove in China. His team Zhejiang Chouzhou is currently on a 5-game winning streak and JR added the explanation point to the most recent victory with a 46-points-10 rebounds performance.

Former NBA player JR Smith’s MRI was negative and the player has returned to the court for the Golden Bulls scoring 16-5-4. But how long will he last in China is really the question. Reports say that the team is/was considering waiving the enigmatic star for being to demanding and ditching a few practices while claiming illness.

JR Smith has suffered a knee injury while playing for his team, Zhejiang in China. Details on the injury are still emerging but here’s what’s known.

Jr Smith is clearly apart of the “ink my whole body” crew. The latest tattoo pays homage to Michael Jordan. Jr has Jordan’s retired Bulls jersey and his jumpman logo squeezed into a random obscure spot on his stomach. Wait, I forgot the Jordan…2′s, I believe that’s the pair featured also.
:shrug: When JR was with the Hornets he rocked #23 too. Tatted for life I guess.
