Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been sentenced to 90 days in jail after he plead guilty to reduced domestic violence battery and harassment charges stemming from a September 2010 incident involving his ex (and kid’s mother) Josie Harris. Floyd Jr. has to report to jail on January 6th. He also has to complete 100 hours of community service and pay a $2,500 fine.

I like Floyd Mayweather’s bravado. Confidence with just a tinged of cocky can be attractive. But the key to making that combination work, is knowing when to fallback and stay quiet. Floyd is still working on mastering that skill set. Case in point, Floyd heard a radio host named Rude Jude was accusing him of running from a fight with Manny Pacquiao- something MANY people have said for years- on his show, The All Out Show. Floyd decided he wanted to call in and address his commentary.

Well, you may want to start looking into flights and hotel rooms in Vegas for May 5th. Floyd Mayweather Jr’s camp has said the boxer isn’t planning a long hiatus from the ring and the opponent they want is Manny Pacquiao.
Leonard Ellerbe, an advisor to Mayweather, broke the news.

Victor Ortiz seems to have a change of tune regarding his fight last Saturday against Floyd Mayweather jr. In initial reports after the fight, Ortiz stated the match was a “learning experience” and that he didn’t know the ref had indicated the fight was back on.
