Skip Bayless and Lil Wayne seem to have secretly bonded. The day after the Espy awards, Skip held his own “Skippy” awards on “First Take.” Lil Wayne made a surprise visit to the set -he happened to be in town for the I AM Music tour- and caused Skip to not only change his mind on a few categories but bow at the greatness that is Lil Wayne.
Curious about the interaction? Check out this after show clip:

It’s a shame that we won’t see too much of Jalen Rose in the final weeks of the NBA season, he’s developed into a pretty good on-air analyst for ESPN.

Lamar and Khloe Odashian (yes I combo’d their last name months ago, catch up ::bats lashes::) have come together for a spot for ESPN’s new 3D channel . Nothing earth shattering here, I just like them as a couple, I love the Lakers and her boots are banging. So there you go.

It’s a pretty big deal that a POP Star is getting an interview on ESPN. Guys don’t really care that Beyonce considers herself an athlete because of the grind of touring.

Chris Bosh has always been considered the less attractive piece of the Heat’s Voltron (old school 80′s cartoon, Kobe made this reference in case you were lost) however, last night he showed up in a big way scoring 35 points as the Heat took down the Suns 123-96 Wednesday night.
Great right!! Unfortunately, Chris found a way to mess up the warm glow of winning with his post game comments:

All the Marvel ESPN Comic covers!! This is EPIC. I love it. Remember I’m not a comic book chick but I recognize a great marketing collaboration and this is one!

Last week Marvel Comics and ESPN announced their joint venture featuring NBA athletes with a comic book make over as promos for this coming season. One by one images are being released. This is the Milwaukee Bucks version that features Bucks Center Andrew Bogut and Point Guard Brandon Jennings.
I’d love to know which Marvel comic or character this scene is based off of. If you know, share!
