Chicago has been experiencing an uptick in shootings recently. Thursday evening, Dwyane Wade’s nephew was one of six men shot in a convenience store in Chicago’s south side. The incident left one man dead at the scene and four others in critical condition. The victims ranged in age from 16 to 24. The assailants fled by SUV.

Chris Bosh celebrated his 28th birthday last night in Miami. His wife Adrienne and event planner Amaris Jones put together the event which Rémy Martin sponsored. Held at Prelude by Barton G. The venue was transformed into ‘The Chris Bosh Supper Club’.

In what many believe was a preview of this year’s eventual finals match up. The Miami Heat took on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.
Kendrick Perkins had a dunk that ended with a foot to the face of Dwyane Wade.

Wednesday in Miami, the Heat charitable fund and Hublot held a charity event (and celebrated Pat Riley’s birthday) by launching the Heat limited edition Hublot watch.

On Friday, several NBA players used social media to take a stand for Trayvon Martin. Not only did the entire Miami Heat take a photo in their official “Heat team” hoodies, they did so with the full support of the Miami Heat organization.

Even parents of adult children can get overzealous when it comes to their kids and sporting competitions. On Wednesday night the Heat faced off against the Chicago Bulls- minus an injured Derrick Rose – at the United Center in Chicago. Heat star Dwyane Wade is from Chi-town and went to high school about 20 miles from the arena.

If you missed Saturday night’s game between the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers, you missed LeBron displaying his clutch gene and DWade following that up with an example of why he’s a KILLER.
LeBron hit a 3 with 20 seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime. But Dwyane Wade followed that up by taking it straight to the Pacers, .6 seconds left and down, Dwyane dribbled calmly until the clock reached .1 second and hit the J to put the heat up by one and win the game at the buzzer.
